Q. Who is considered an active member of the WREA Foundation?
A. Contributors of $25 dollars or more within a fiscal year (October 1 - September 30) and lifetime members (Founders) will be recognized as members in good standing of the Foundation for that year. To continue as a member in good standing, additional $25 or more membership fees must be paid in each successive year.

Q. Is the payment of membership fees cumulative to attain a higher membership classification?
A. Yes, all contributions including membership fees, donations to memorial funds, donations to honor events or individuals, charitable gifts, etc., are cumulative.

Q. Must we join as individual members or can couples join as members?
A. Although individual memberships ($25 or more) are encouraged, joint contributions of spouses will accumulate to attain the Founder level ($2500 and up). However, for spouses to be considered active members in any fiscal year, each spouse must pay a $25 or more membership fee.

Q. What are the Foundation's assets?
A. The total assets are approximately $230,000. Included in that amount is the $75,000 donation by WREA from the litigation reimbursement. The balance is made up of membership dues, memorials and charitable gifts.

Q. Can WREA units give to the Foundation?
A. Absolutely!

Q. Why should I become a member?
A. The WREA Foundation allows WREA to provide community outreach and service. The projects of the Foundation complement the activities of WREA and allow our Association to do more for other groups and individuals.
